With the support of the University Galleries, this exhibition is produced and organized by FAU students, for FAU students. The exhibition’s ultimate goal is to provide opportunities for students to showcase their work in a professional environment, while also developing valuable skills as working artists and administrators. Open to all FAU students, the Annual Juried Student Exhibition offers every student on campus the opportunity to exhibit their work, no matter their major. Students are allowed to submit up to three works in a variety of media including photography, drawing, painting, sculpture, sound, video, graphic design, architecture, and multimedia installation. This year the exhibited students were selected by Michelle Lisa Polissaint, a Haitian-American visual artist and arts organizer based in Miami, Florida. She is the Education & Community Engagement Manager at Oolite Arts, is a resident artist at Bakehouse Art Complex, and is represented by Spinello Projects. Four chosen students will receive a cash prize, which will be presented to each in the form of a scholarship from FAU’s Art Department.

Congratulations to the 2021 award winners! In 1st place, Victoria Carballo, in 2nd place, Katie Prock, in 3rd place, Adison Gonzalez, and in 4th place, Helen Edmunds.
